Mr. and Mrs. William “Bill” Bradford celebrated their 60th anniversary with a reception for family and friends Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at The Commons. Cards may be sent to 84787 U.S. Hwy. 64, Pond Creek, OK 73766
William “Bill” Bradford and Geneva “Genny” Lamle were married Sept. 7, 1952, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Enid.
Bill served in the Army for one year and a short time in the Navy as well.
He was self-employed as a farmer in Pond Creek for more than 70 years. He began Bradford crop insurance and adjusting agency in 1982, and still works the agency today.
Genny has worked at Goldspot, for Dr. Deony in Pond Creek, Bank Lumber in Enid, Burgundy Place as a program director, and The Methodist Home. She was a member of Rose Circle HCE club in Grant county for 50 years.
They are members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Enid.
Their children are Bill Bradford Jr., Clayton, N.C.; Steve Bradford and wife Terry, Edmond; Cindy Nieman and husband Jeff, Shawnee; and Caroline Howell and husband Jeff, Edmond. They have 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
