ENID, Okla. —
Ringwood FFA and 4-H sent six members to compete in the district AFR speech contest in Fairview. Raegan Detrick, Ryli Powell, Alex Hayes, Taylor Detrick, Rylee Detrick and Abi Anderson competed. Rylee Detrick and Anderson will compete at the state level.
Rylee received first in agribusiness, and Anderson received second in the natural resources category.
Ringwood also sent 13 FFA members with two teams to compete at the Freedom opening and closing ceremonies competition and the Greenhand competition.
Brook Burnette received third in the Greenhand competition, and Taylor Detrick placed 10th.
The ceremonies team of Kyle Mason, Jacob Schmidt, Loren Decker, Ben Detrick, Mackenzie Palmer and Abi Anderson placed fourth.
