ENID, Okla. —
Garber FFA members Jessica Cinnamon, Kami Oller, Kaden Love, Kevin Severin, Layton Heitfeld and Garret Heinrich competed in the opening ceremonies contest at the State FFA contest in Stillwater on Nov. 5.
They competed in the state contest after placing first at the Enid P.I. Garber FFA member Hunter Ehlers also competed at state in the Greenhand contest. He also received first in the Greenhand contest at the Enid P.I.
Garber FFA members hosted a haunted house on Halloween night. Members and other volunteers worked hard to get the house ready and had a great time being part of the haunted house. More than $1,000 was raised for the R.J. Harris Educational Fund.
On Nov. 3, Garber FFA held its annual bingo/chili supper to raise money for the Angel Tree in Garber. Almost $2,000 was raised. Officers will use all the money to buy gifts for less fortunate children in Garber.
