Kremlin-Hillsdale 4-H Club celebrated 100 years of Oklahoma 4-H during National 4-H Week, which was Oct. 4-10, with school and community activities.
Brochures were handed out to elementary students to promote 4-H. Teachers were treated to breakfast by 4-H members.
Taylor Parrish, Carlee Salisbury, Katie Woods, Jacob Pekrul and Jennifer Pekrul attended the Garfield County 4-H meeting, where Ricki Schroeder lead an entomology workshop and Mandy Schroeder lead a workshop on biofuels.
Carlee Salisbury held a candy guessing contest, which was won by the third-grade class. Cookies were made and delivered to businesses in Kremlin and Hillsdale and donors in Enid. Kremlin-Hillsdale students wore green to show their support for the 4-H Club.
