ENID, Okla. —
The 90th annual meeting of the Oklahoma Seed Trade Association has been scheduled for Feb. 7 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Oklahoma City.
The meeting will begin with the Oklahoma Field Seed Institute committee meeting at 1:30 p.m. This meeting is open to all members interested in all types of field seed issues. Attendees are urged to be prepared to discuss all types of business-related issues affecting field seeds.
The speaking session following the committee meeting will include: “Niche Market Seeds,” Allan Nation, Stockman Grass Farmer magazine; “Drought Update and Outlook,” Gary McManus, associate state climatologist, Oklahoma Climatological Survey; and “The Farm Bill: Where it Was, Where it is and Where it is Going,” Garrett King, agricultural liaison for Congressman Frank Lucas.
