WAYNOKA — Danielle Litzenburger serves as Waynoka FFA president.
She is the daughter of David and Susan Litzenburger.
Her SAEs include raising cattle and showing Boar meat goats. Litzenburger has shown wether meat goats for seven years. Having the overall third and fourth goats at the Oklahoma State Fair and third overall at Tulsa State Fair; making the sale in fall 2009 with her paint goat, Modo; winning state in the reporter’s contest in 2008 and Washington Leadership Conference scholarship in 2009 are some of her biggest achievements in FFA.
“The FFA has handed me so many opportunities to better myself and others around me, which not many people have in reach or desire to grasp,” Litzenburger said.
FFA has taught her to have confidence within, speak with her voice, a competitive drive and responsibility and leadership skills. She also has served her FFA chapter as vice president and reporter. She has achieved many of her goals by earning the Chapter Star Discovery, Star Greenhand and Star Chapter Farmer awards, having the grand champion market goat at Northwest District Junior Livestock Show in 2007 and making the sale every year with her show goats.
Litzenburger said she wants to encourage all chapter members to make the most of every opportunity through FFA, such as Made for Excellence, Advanced Leadership Development, Washington Leadership Conference and Alumni Camp.
She is active in varsity basketball and fast- and slow-pitch softball. She is is on the principal’s honor roll, serves as senior class president, will be in the school play, is reigning Miss Waynoka and is an active member of United Methodist Church.
