ENID — The fifth annual Conservation Tillage 101 Workshop has been postponed until Feb. 11.
The event will be at Chisholm Trail Pavilion. It was moved from last week because of concerns over the weather.
Registration for the meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. with refreshments. Meeting presentations will begin at 9 a.m., and the meeting will conclude around 3:30 p.m.
This workshop will cover a variety of conservation tillage production topics relevant to decisions producers will be faced with in the coming season of production.
The meeting also will serve as the information gathering locally lead meeting for Garfield County Conservation District and Natural Resources Conservation Service.
The workshop and lunch are free of charge, but reservations are needed. Contact either Garfield County Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service at 237-1228 or Garfield County Conservation District at 237-7880 for information or reservations.
Agriculture producers, certified crop advisers (CCAs) and commercial applicators should all find benefits from attending this year’s workshop.
CCAs may obtain up to six continuing education units free of charge for attending the workshop. Commercial applicators will obtain one CEU credit through the ODAFF by attending this workshop.
